- This tester is used to evaluate the permeability of leather.
- The operator is to cover the mouth of the container with the test specimen which is filled with silica gel.
- The container is to be put on a turn table that turns at a constant speed and the surface of the test specimen is to be blown air by a fan for a certain amount of time. The permeability is to be calculated from the difference in weight of the container before and after the test.
