- The GRIND METER is used to judge the grind level of planographic ink and the variance level of paint, varnish, and colorant.
 - The operator is to scrape the test specimen with a scraper at a constant speed from the deep part of the groove to the shallow part of the groove and read the scale where dense grain starts to appear.
