Overview of CROSS CUT MACHINE(AUTOMATIC)
This is a fully automated cross cutting machine, which cuts paint-coated samples in a grid pattern (aka cross cut method).
The cutting blade is set perpendicular to the sample, and the necessary weights are added to the blade.
All cuts penetrate through the paint coatings and to the surface of the substrate. Once the cuts are made, the specimen is brushed, then applied with standard-specified tape. The tape is peeled within 5minutes after it is applied.
The number of cuts and the pitch can be set via touch panel. No.551-AUTO-2 is additionally featured with 90° automatic specimen rotation. Cuts are more precise compared to that of manual cross cutting.
