No.551 CROSS CUT MACHINE（AUTOMATIC）
- This is a fully automated cross cutting machine, which cuts paint-coated samples in a grid pattern (aka cross cut method).
- The cutting blade is set perpendicular to the sample, and the necessary weights are added to the blade.
- All cuts penetrate through the paint coatings and to the surface of the substrate. Once the cuts are made, the specimen is brushed, then applied with standard-specified tape. The tape is peeled within 5minutes after it is applied.
- The number of cuts and the pitch can be set via touch panel. No.551-AUTO-2 is additionally featured with 90° automatic specimen rotation. Cuts are more precise compared to that of manual cross cutting.
